As part of the Aberdeenshire Community Planning Partnership, Community Planning in Buchan brings together local services with our local communities to share their knowledge, skills and resources to help identify and address the needs and concerns of the Buchan area.

News in Buchan....

• The Buchan 'With Inclusion in Mind' Event will take place on 8th September in Peterhead and will be used to consult with vulnerable people with a mental or learning disability about their local services. 
  
  
• The 'Making the most of Aden Country Park' project is looking for your thoughts and opinions to help with ideas for the future development of Aden Country Park.  Please take part in their online Questionnaire. 
  
  
• The Community of Hatton have produced their 'Community Action Plan', which identifies their local communities priorities and needs.
  
  
• A public consultation for Aberdeenshire's proposed Local Development Plan is now active.  The Plan sets out the policies which Aberdeenshire Council will use for assessing planning applications and the sites proposed for development for Buchan and across Aberdeenshire.
