Council for Voluntary Services
The Council for Voluntary Services (CVS) exists to represent and support the voluntary sector; to assist organisations in coming together to achieve common goals; and to enable local people to make an impact on the decisions-making processes which affect their community.
Gordon Rural Action and Kincardine and Deeside Voice have now amalgamated to form CVS Aberdeenshire Central & South. CVS Aberdeenshire - Central & South are one of 56 Council for Voluntary Services in Scotland. We exist to support and represent local voluntary sector groups and organisation by offering a range of services for both new and established groups. If we can't help, we will aim to find someone who can.
We are the representative for the wider third sector on the Marr Local Community Planning Group (MLCPG), if you are working in the voluntary sector and wish to bring issues to the attention of the MLCPG, please contact us.
Our annual report and newsletters are available on our website: www.cvsa.co.uk
