Partnership working brings many benefits.  Organisations gain shared understanding of local issues and they can work together to deliver solutions without duplication of effort.  The inclusion of community partners means that better solutions can be reached and delivered in the way that best suits communities.

Aberdeenshire CouncilAberdeenshire Council
The democratically elected local authority that provides education, social work, housing, recreation, environmental health, planning, roads, consumer protection and many other services for the people of Aberdeenshire.

Our role is to understand, communicate with, and represent the interests of the voluntary sector locally. CVSs promote good practice, support the emergence of new groups and also provide support services to, and strengthen the capacity of, existing voluntary groups.  In Aberdeenshire, the two CVSs are Bridge CVS (North), CVS Aberdeenshire (Central & South) 

Community Councils
We are locally elected bodies whose remit is to represent the views of, and take action to promote, the interests of their communities. Grampian Fire and Rescue Service

Our priority is to reduce risk by preventing emergency incidents, protecting our communities and responding to calls for assistance.

Our mission is: to promote well-being and safety in our communities; to provide excellent, visible, accessible services; and to enhance the quality of life of all those we serve.

Local Rural Partnerships
Voluntary groupings who work with and promote the common issues affecting the local communities, and work to empower, support and help develop community groups.

Banffshire Partnership, Banchory and District Initiative, Birse Community Trust, Buchan Development Partnership, Formartine Partnership, Garioch Area Partnership, Royal Deeside Partnership and Marr Area Partnership currently have websites that can be accessed for further information.

NESTRANS Nestrans
Our purpose is to develop and deliver a long-term regional transport strategy and take forward strategic transport improvements that support and improve the economy, environment and quality of life across Aberdeen City and Shire.

NHS Grampian NHS Grampian
Our vision is to improve the health of the people of Grampian, by increasing the rate at which the health of the population improves, and at the same time narrowing the gap in health between our most disadvantaged and most affluent communities. We will strive to provide services that have patients at the heart of the service, receiving safe, high quality treatment on the basis of clinical need, when they need it and within comfortable surroundings. 

Scottish EnterpriseScottish Enterprise
The principal economic development body for Aberdeen City and Shire. Its role is to work with businesses focused on growth to help them improve their productivity.

We will be a catalyst for real and positive change in Scotland's skills performance. We will help individuals to realise their full potential, we will help employers be more successful through skills development, and we will work in meaningful partnership to enhance Scotland's sustainable economic development.

Our role is to lead efforts to achieve a healthier, happier and safer Aberdeenshire, free from harm due to alcohol and other drugs. We are working towards this goal by following the plans laid out in our strategy.
