Additional funding for Participatory Budgeting in Aberdeenshire announced by the Scottish Government

Aberdeenshire CPP has received an additional £35k in funding from the Scottish Government to support the two Participatory Budgeting (PB) pilots in Peterhead and Fraserburgh (see Press Release: http://news.scotland.gov.uk/News/Councils-giving-more-power-to-people-2120.aspx)

These additional funds will be used to help cover the costs of marketing, venue hire, additional support workers, volunteer expenses, digital tools and translation costs.
